Job Description: We are looking for a Technical Facilities Manager to work at a large site in London.
Purpose:
As the Facilities Manager at Harbour Exchange the candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Hard & Soft Services within the building. This will include PPM and reactive works, statutory compliance management, cleaning management, catering contract management, production of monthly management information and budget management. This role is key in ensuring a smooth and consistent approach to building services and includes line management of a team of ten.
Principal Accountabilities:
*Ownership of delivery standards across all services within scope and designated area to agreed SLA's and KPI's.
*Operate as the primary contact for all matters relating to operational service delivery.
*Manage and maintain the training, development and succession plans for all members of the team.
*Delivery of reactive and planned cleaning services and to the agreed standard.
*Management of the Catering Contract, ensuring all services are delivered to the agreed specification.
*Development and delivery of reactive maintenance services and the required PPM.
*Prepare and present business cases for various projects.
*Quality and statutory compliance for a designated site.
*Support a programme for continuous improvement of maintenance strategy.
*Production of monthly management information as necessary.
*Management and supervision of subcontractors.
*Work alongside the Technical Services Manager, Customer Service Manager and Energy Manager for support and to align service delivery standards with Globe House.
*Support strategic life cycle costing and asset management.
*Operate as part of the One Team ethos across all team and supplier interactions.
*Operate to the highest possible standards in relation to Health & Safety compliance at all times.
*Support the development of operational procedures, emergency and contingency plans.
*Assist in budget forecasting for strategic planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
*The ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC/Degree level in an Engineering discipline, with proven management experience
*Candidates must be effective communicators, both written and verbal, and have proven experience in developing and maintaining outstanding relationships with customers and clients.
*Proven leadership qualities, strong influencing skills and experience within a similar role.
*Experience of managing multi service teams.
*Experience of catering contracts.
*Experience of reporting and MI production.
*Experience of related facilities management systems (e.g. BMS, CAFM)
*Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel, Power point and Project.
*The ability to plan and prioritise.
*Smart, presentable appearance.
*A self starter able to operate alone and as part of a team.
*Innovative and focused on continuous improvement.
