Job Description: Our client has a newley created role for a Multi Skilled Engineer based in Filton. The role will provide technical support in the application of maintenance services for reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks, measured against the Service Level Agreement promoting good customer service and carry out AP duties.
The key reponsibilities for this role are to:
� Provide technical service and support. Carry out repairs and routine maintenance to electrical and mechanical building services within the agreed service levels.
� Prepare risk assessments
� Carry out AP duties in given disciplines
� Ensure compliance with health and safety and PPE requirements
� Support the Site Supervisor and management team (including standing in when required)
� Raise and issue permits as necessary
� Control of Sub Contractors
� COSHH control.
� Participate in the continuing development of the customer service culture with our client by appropriate communication and promoting customer service excellence
� Promote the FM team culture by good teamwork with colleagues and subcontractors.
� Encourage best practice by identifying fault trends and causes using the continuous review process to implement change.
Qualifications and Experience:
� City & Guilds 17th Edition 236 Part 1&2 with mechanical equivalent where applicable. Should have experience of working on all the various Electrical / Mechanical equipment within the Building Services Industry. i.e. Boilers, Air Conditioning systems, Water Services, Lighting systems, Power distribution systems. The candidate should have the ability to carry out inspection & testing as required and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
� Prepared to undertake formal training in the maintenance and operation of Airfield Ground Lighting systems
� An understanding of current Health and Safety regulations, and be able to work unsupervised or within a small team, with a 'can do' attitude.
� An effective communicator and have basic computer literacy skills, and an understanding of service level agreements.
� A flexible work ethic is required, prepared to work within all disciplines as part of a small engineering team.
� Successful completion of Criminal records check at basic disclosure level is mandatory for this position along with five years checkable work history with references. BAE/MoD security clearance will be required.
