Job Description: Based in the Hatfield office, the main duties of the roles include:
1.In co-operation with Project Teams, the preparation of strategic and tactical plans (in appropriate format) for the relevant projects, including liaison with the client, builders, sub-contractors and other parties - including the co-ordination of planning aspects of the different trades on the Hatfield multi-service projects.
2.Periodic progressing of the Hatfield projects according to criteria defined by the Commercial Director or Project Manager.
3.Periodically assisting the Managing Surveyor/Surveying Team as appropriate with enquiries into budgeting, cash flow, interim applications, claims and other financial aspect of Hatfield projects.
4.Assisting/advising on planning aspects of company commercial and operational strategies at regional and project level.
5.All aspects of planning and progressing, including liaison with the main contractor and our sub contractors plus any related functions agreed with the Project Manager e.g. method study or incentive payment administration
6.Resource planning of staff time on the project e.g. recording and charting of employee commitment on work in hand.
7.Monitoring and reporting of planning resource cost against projects on a monthly basis
8.Noting the planning guidelines described by the Company Process Manuals and the Regional Director; reconciling or reporting any significant inability to observe these.
