Job Description: To inspect requested repairs and maintenance work and specify action to be taken or works required. To ensure cost effective repairs are carried out and standards are maintained for the Association and its clients. To advise clients and residents of solutions to problems and advise the Responsive Repairs Manager of possible major repairs and planned maintenance. To ensure that sufficient and appropriate post inspections of maintenance works are carried out and to verify that an acceptable quality is being achieved by the contractors and that the Association is being correctly invoiced.
To monitor the quality and standard of repairs in terms of value for money and key performance indicators and provide the Responsive Repairs Manager with regular reports and recommendations on action required.
To review and monitor the approved panel of maintenance contractors and to make recommendations to the Responsive Repairs Manager.
To undertake periodical condition surveys of property as required and make recommendations for major repairs and planned maintenance.
Carry out your duties in accordance with the Company Equality and Diversity Policy.

Take a 'continual improvement' approach to work, actively working in partnership with our customers and participating in service reviews and improvements.
