Job Description: This is a permanent position paying £25,899. Benefits include 25 days holiday and pension (join after 3 months). Please note there is NO vehicle with this role as it is site based and therefore there is no requirement to travel. Candidates must be able to get to base using their own method of transport.
We are ideally seeking an all round engineer who has ideally worked in an FM type environment. The candidate must be electrically biased holding their 17th Edition and testing and inspecting BS7671.
The role will incorporate planned maintenance and fault finding and repair. The candidate must have good communication and customer service skills to be able to work effectively with the site manager.
Key Duties
*Analyse and understanding of complex technical issues
*Working independently coordinating efforts of other Romec staff and contractors
*Maintenance of air conditioning, power doors, dock levellers, conveyors, fire alarm, PHE works, water, heating etc
*Perform basic plumbing duties
*Working with the Maintenance Manager on a range of tasks including care-taking and other ad hoc duties
*Make personal judgments on how to undertake work to achieve cost, quality and contractual objectives
Personal Aptitudes
*Successful applicants must hold 17th Edition or Electrical Apprenticeship
*You will also hold the BS7671 testing and inspection
*Ideally you will be IPAF and MEWP trained and qualified
*Ideally you will possess Category 4 certification
