Job Description:
40 hour week, normally working 07:30 - 16:00 but rostered to provide late cover every third week when working hours will be 09:30 - 18:00. Saturday morning working is required every third week which is paid at overtime rates. Additionally the successful candidate will be required to participate in an On-Call roster when appropriately experienced in on-site system operations. This will occur every six weeks approximately and appropriate remuneration and use of a pool vehicle will be provided during these periods.
A mobile telephone will be provided.
This is a customer facing role and the successful applicant will need to demonstrate an awareness of customer service issues within the Building Services industry.
Principle Accountabilities:
*Manage the timely completion of Helpdesk generated reactive tasks, prioritising accordingly.
*Manage the timely completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks, prioritising accordingly.
*Develop and retain a working knowledge of site electrical, mechanical and Fire Alarm systems.
*Assist in the management of emergency incidents on site
*Liaise with sub-contractors to produce quotations for Extra Works and New Works in accordance with the customer s requests.
Qualifications and Experience:
*At least 18 months experience within a similar role.
*To have served a recognised mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship.
*Experience of operating and maintaining mechanical systems, heating, cooling, and pumped water systems.
*Previous experience in plumbing and maintenance of air conditioning systems would be advantageous
*Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook systems.
*Practiced in good client communication skills.
*Ability to build and sustain customer relationships.
*Ability to plan and organise
*Good team player
*Valid full driving licence
Other factors:
Requires regular rostered overtime working
Requires participation in a Call-Out arrangement

40 hour week
Normal working hours are 07:30 - 1600 daily
On site engineering cover is provided between 07:30 - 18:00 therefore rostered working between 09:30 and 18:00 is required every 3 weeks.
The successful applicant will be smart and presentable in appearance
The individual must be willing to undertake Security Clearance
