Job Description:
My client provide building, plant & grounds maintenance service to a specific contract scope. As Supervisor you will be responsible for leading a team of multi-skills & sub-contract labour to deliver a planned maintenance and reactive supprt regime, which will involve considerable Client interface.
You will continually supervise and assess the engineering team.
Take effective control of sub-contractors completing service works including provision of permits of work, annual performance assessments etc
Own & maintain the procurement process to ensure consumables, replacement parts / additional services to ensure completion of repairs in timely manner with minimum stock holding
Achieve Site Safety Co-ordinator status, maitain safety systems applicable to company policy, Tool Box Talks, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, TAG Out, PTW
Assist the Site Operation Manager with the efficient delivery of Contract specification to Client satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have:
At least 3 yearsexperience within a similar role and operation, including staff development/objective setting via an appraisal system
HNC/HND in a relevant discipline and able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering
Professional Membership would be desirable, not essential
Experience of 20K BTU boilers and associated equipment, compressors, HVAC
Knowldege of CMMS systems and their implementation preferably IMPACT XP
Good IT, literacy and communications skills
Experience of preparing & controlling operational budgets
